WW2: The SVT40 Weapon

WW2: The SVT-40 Weapon

The SVT-40 is a key member of the assault rifle family, often referred to as “Assault Rifle” in English and commonly abbreviated as AR. Here you will find all the statistics and tips to master this weapon in the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: WW2.

The SVT-40 is a semi-automatic rifle that shares striking similarities with the M1 Garand. However, it can only be unlocked by achieving first prestige in the Infantry Division. This weapon can take down enemies in two to three shots, thanks to lighter recoil and a larger magazine. This allows players to maintain sustained fire without pushing the limits too much, as one might with the M1, which could lead to errant shots. On the downside, it has a longer reload time. It excels in handling long lines of sight and objectives from a distance, but it can struggle against a dedicated sniper.

Statistics

  • Damage: 56-52-49 based on distance
  • Range: lethal shots in 2 bullets up to 50 meters (100 meters with advanced rifling)
  • Accuracy: 6/10
  • Rate of Fire: 258 RPM
  • Magazine Size: 10 (15 with the large-capacity magazine)
  • Reload Time: 1.7 sec

Accessories and Division

Infantry

As with most assault rifles, the mobility provided by the stock and the ability to equip three accessories through the Infantry Division are nearly essential.

Reflex Sight

A standard, unobstructed reflex sight for quick targeting.

Grip

Reduces recoil during scoped firing, increasing stability.

Large Capacity Magazine

Increases magazine size and allows for quicker aiming.

Note: You may opt for a x4 Scope instead of the reflex sight if you prefer engaging at longer distances.
