WW2: The M1A1 Carbine

The M1A1 Carbine belongs to the family of assault rifles, known in English as Assault Rifles, often abbreviated as AR. In this article, you’ll find all the stats and tips to master this weapon in the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: WW2.

Semi-automatic, the M1A1 Carbine is designed with minimal recoil and features a larger magazine than its counterparts, such as the M1 Garand and SVT-40. However, it has lower damage output. You will require three shots to take down an enemy at any range from 0 to 50 meters, even if two of those shots hit the head. Its low time-to-kill (TTK) across all distances is its most significant drawback, which even its impressive precision can’t compensate for. Against other weapons, particularly at short, medium, and long ranges, this rifle proves less effective, and snipers will always have a considerable advantage at extended distances.

Statistics

  • Damage: 40-35-30 depending on distance
  • Range: lethal up to 50 meters with 3 shots (100 meters with advanced rifling)
  • Accuracy: 8/10
  • Rate of Fire: 387 RPM
  • Magazine Size: 15 rounds (22 with extended magazine)
  • Reload Time: 1.6 seconds

Attachments and Division

Mountain Division

Given that most attachments do not significantly improve the M1A1 Carbine’s performance, we recommend using the Mountain Division to adopt a playstyle reminiscent of snipers, maximizing the few advantages this weapon provides.

4x Scope

A 4x zoom for enhanced targeting distance.

Extended Magazine

Increases the weapon’s magazine capacity.
