An entire island decked out in Halloween-themed décor. But wait, there’s a catch: five tricky puzzles await the bold souls brave enough to venture there. Solve them, and exclusive loot awaits, which is precisely why anyone who plays this game must embark on this ghostly adventure—before it unceremoniously vanishes!
Cracking the Codes: The Puzzles Below
Currently, only three of the five puzzles are live, as mischievous developers are probably teasing players. So, let’s cut to the chase and unveil some ‘how-tos’ for the puzzles that are up and running!
The Enigmatic Ghostly Critter
First up, the Ghostly Critter puzzle—meet the ghostly fox who acts as the island’s unofficial welcoming committee. Fear not! Though this furry phantom has a spine-chilling aesthetic, he’s friendlier than a ghost in a kids’ horror movie. How does one win over this ethereal creature? Just like any ‘normal’ critter in the valley, with snacks. But not just any snacks—spooky snacks!
He adores the Haunted Skeleton Fish. Yes, this isn’t your ordinary dinner fish; it’s a Halloween special! Not caught by traditional angling but instead hanging out next to the fox’s kennel. Feeling lost? Check out the screenshot below for its position.
Feed this ghostly delight to the fox for a happy wiggle of his tail—a memory orb is yours! You’ll have to come back over four days because who doesn’t want to play hide-and-seek with a ghost fox? Gather all four orbs, and you’ll be rewarded with a lovely photo of a hearse. Spot it on the island and dig where the golden sparkles beckon for a lovely Clawed Foot Tub that’s perfect for those midnight bath sessions.
Combination Pillar Puzzle—No Math Involved!
This next puzzle takes a little talismanic test involving a stone wall and four blocks that look like they’re part of an alien’s hide-and-seek game. Each block can be rotated, and they hide a range of symbols that would baffle even Einstein! Clues, however, are hidden in plain sight around the island. Four distinct glowing symbols with pumpkins mattering their score are your ticket to success.
For those who’d rather not scour the island, below are the solutions, saving players from a spontaneous cardio session:
Box I holds a spiderweb; Box II has a bat; Box III features that witch’s hat; and Box IV is the lucky one with a cat. Once all the symbols lineup correctly, a hidden pouch will pop up, revealing the Haunted Festival Dress—it’s like Halloween fashion week just for you!
What’s That Tree Crying About?
And now, the spectacular Terror-rific Tree puzzle, starring the grumpiest tree around. This ancient bark demands some rather interesting items: 20 Haunted Crow Feathers, 15 Haunted Skeleton Fish, and 10 Haunted White Roses. Yes, it’s a true list—courtesy of a book with clues that would frighten even the most seasoned adventurers. Meanwhile, the tree is probably too busy sulking about its bark.
The feathers flutter around the scarecrow, and the white roses bloom solemnly near the haunted cottage—definitely your regular picking garden. Once all 45 items are collected, it’s back to the glowering tree to exchange them for a Howling Tree of your own, because who wouldn’t want a tree that howls?
Holding Out for the Last Two Puzzles
Puzzle four, the Potion Brewer’s House, will unveil itself at midnight on October 29, and puzzle five, the Haunted Mansion, will take its sweet time until November 5. Patience, dear puzzlers; the spooky fiesta isn’t over yet!
