It’s not just legendary weapons that matter; accessories are important too! In this guide for Borderlands 4, we’ll show you how to reach the boss you need to farm for the best legendary repair kit in the game.
Now that you have your Rainbow Vomit rifle and Whiskey Foxtrot firmly secured in your Borderlands 4 arsenal, it’s time to complete your setup with the best healing kit to tackle the endgame and Ultimate Hunter mode with confidence. As is often the case, this involves hunting down a boss lurking deep within a dungeon; however, like with Leader Willhem, you’ll need to complete a few quests before he becomes available.
Where to Find the Legendary Triple Bypass?
First, you’ll need to advance through the main mission of the game until you unlock the Mines of Auguries, located all across the map. Once you reach this stage, new secondary dungeons will become available on Kairos, introducing new bosses and thereby new opportunities to farm for legendary items. Our target this time is the Conquest Mine, which you can easily find north of the Zadra Rescue Plan in Mount Terminus. Inside, you’ll be greeted by a series of straightforward platforming challenges: the only minor difficulty lies in locating a hook amidst a large pool of acid towards the end of the section. Continue upward along the sticky wall, and you should soon spot the usual two vending machines – time to fine-tune your build for the upcoming boss battle.
How to Defeat the Boss Niche-Spine?
To take down this hefty quadruped boss, you’ll need to be resilient and constantly on the move. Utilize the circular shape of the arena to circle around him, wasting as much time as possible as he lumbers towards you. Be sure to dodge his powerful charges and take care of the smaller explosive enemies that he regularly hurls at you. We recommend keeping a few of them alive in case things go tough, though it’s still crucial to prioritize the explosive variants due to their devastating damage output. Once the boss is defeated, you know the drill: head back through the vortex to return to the beginning of the arena, and trigger the encounter again using Moxxi’s machine until you finally acquire the coveted Triple Bypass.
