Are you eager to unlock Prestige levels in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 but unsure how to go about it? We’ve got all the details on how this system operates and at what level you can access this ultimate mode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 brings back the classic Prestige system. This time around, players are required to level up from level 1 all the way to the ultimate level in order to unlock the first Prestige. After that, it’s a repetitive journey to reach the maximum Prestige level, which is set at level 10. While the grind is lengthy, the rewards are absolutely worthwhile.
What is the Maximum Level in Black Ops 6 Required to Unlock Prestige?
To find out about the maximum level needed to unlock Prestige, simply navigate to your Rewards tab, located to the left of the Prestige section. In the menu, you’ll find a sort of Battle Pass that grants rewards at each level. If you scroll all the way to the right, you’ll notice that reaching level 55 is essential. Achieving this requires extensive XP farming. Keep in mind that this pertains to your account’s XP rather than weapon XP. To expedite your progress, we recommend the following:
- Complete daily challenges
- Select optimal game modes such as Domination, Hardpoint, or Headquarters
Key Facts About Prestige Levels in Black Ops 6
Once you reach level 55 and unlock Prestige, choosing to progress through the Prestige levels entails several significant changes:
- Your account will reset back to level 1
- You need to unlock all levels again except for base operators, emojis, and Zombies GobbleGums, as well as anything you unlock permanently
- Your arsenal will be reset as well
However, for every new Prestige level you achieve, you’ll receive a token that allows you to instantly unlock any in-game item without needing to reach the corresponding level. Ten tokens are awarded for each Prestige level reached.
