To get your hands on Oscar Mike, you will need to complete the side quest “Crack in the Hunt” located in the Carcadia Wastes. This isn’t too complicated, but it’s wise to set aside roughly twenty minutes to finish it. To initiate the quest, head north of the city after making good progress through the region’s storyline: in the center of the area investigating strange tremors, you’ll be asked to investigate what’s going on. This will lead you to an underground location where you’ll need to clear out enemies and restore power by rerouting cables on the ceiling until everything flows correctly. Once you’ve cleared the first lab, you’ll be asked to join the Genope base, which is somewhat hidden behind local cliffs; so keep a close eye on your GPS. Once there, the process mirrors what you did earlier: eliminate all foes, then redirect power to open the final door separating you from the boss of this quest.

How to Defeat the Genope Boss?

There’s not much to elaborate on concerning Genope: he is a hormone-boosted soldier, yet lacks devastating attacks or relentless waves of minions. The good news is that you can effortlessly farm his loot table to obtain the Oscar Mike rifle, which is the primary reason to embark on this crazy adventure in the first place. As usual, once you vanquish Genope for the first time, his Encore machine will become available at the entrance of the arena, allowing you to challenge him as many times as you’d like.
