Finding the Little Fleas of Hollow Knight: Silksong – A Comedic Quest!

Ah, the flea caravan! Seems tiny creatures have big jobs after all in Silksong. This guide dives into how to rescue each of these little critters across the map, from the Furnace Flea to the elusive Pucetopia, armed with Pale Oil and other rewards. Buckle up; it could be a bumpy ride!

Just like its predecessor, players are charged with hunting down lost bugs—only now they’re adorably cute and not the least bit terrifying. Now don’t underestimate their importance, as scooping up these fleas will unlock special camps, unique services, trophies, and more shiny rewards than a kid in a candy store. The good news? For most of them, it’s not rocket science finding them (minus a couple of flea-sized detours).

Tracking Down Those Fleas in Style!

The list of fleas is organized according to logical progression through various zones, apart from those pesky little fellows that need unique powers or items for a proper reunion. Hear those little barky sounds? Use those to locate nearby flea friends.

  • Den: Climb up mountainous obstacles to reach high ledges.
  • Deep Quays: Bust down the wall blocking the secret pathway to the left of the quick travel spot. Then, leap from platform to platform while dodging lava waterfalls. The Dash ability is essential (and expected) for reaching all the subsequent fleas.
  • Deep Quays: Activate the lever lower in the area, then climb up to find the flea hiding up high.
  • Distant Lands: The flea is trapped at the end of a corridor with a hidden trap. Watch out, or it’ll be trap city!
  • Hunter’s Path: Bounce off the red fruits until reaching the cage on the thorny slope.
  • Darkvale: In a prison above the corbiter nest. After inflating the balloons in the area, climb high into the room and reach the cells from above.

Rewarding Flea Rescue Missions

Many trophies are indirectly related to flea rescue, including the ever-elusive 100% progression. Yet, direct trophies involve gathering 50% and 100% of the fleas. The Flea Master will graciously offer the Pucelia Egg tool once 30 fleas are coaxed into safety.

Flea Master and Caravan Shenanigans!

Rescuing those little fleas begins with a simple wish expressed by the Flea Master in a cozy corner of the Den, asking to save a mere five of these adorable beasts. Once collected, an enticing offer to travel together will be presented, allowing for instant teleportation to Darkvale while temporarily bidding farewell to the boss headache Ailebrume. Not only does the caravan provide benches and fancy potions, but additional services sprout up as special fleas like Kratt and Vog are uncovered. Who knew these tiny critters could lead to such grand adventures?

As more fleas are found, the caravan can gradually make its way to the entrance of the Citadel in the eroded marches region.

Pucetopia Awaits!

After rescuing at least 25 fleas and uncovering the hidden Pale Lake to the right of the Ruined Channels, it’s time to chat with the Flea Master again. He’ll pack up the caravan one last time to establish Pucetopia, a vital pre-requisite for advancing to Act 3 and unlocking the best rewards. Who doesn’t want a piece of that action?

Once in Act 3, Pucetopia transforms into the Flea Celebration, complete with three mini-games to win Pale Oil, pearls, and shells. These games are no cakewalk, especially the one where juggling fleas is required. Just hope those little guys don’t go rogue!

How to Locate Those Sneaky Missing Fleas?

Missed a couple of fleas and can’t figure out which ones? Panic not! Just ensure Vog was found in the Ruined Channels and that the Caravan has made its way to Pucetopia. Hit up Vog for some maps in exchange for pearls—they’ll mark the missing fleas on your map, but won’t tell you how to reach them. Guess it’s a surprise for later!
