Heart Electric, a fresh take on the hero shooter genre, is the brainchild of Niklas Fegraeus, known for his previous work on titles like Battlefield and Star Wars: Battlefront. Exciting news is on the horizon as the studio, Modoyo, has announced its first global playtest, set to occur from October 24 to 26.
Gameplay Mechanics and Features
In this dynamic game, players will engage in intense combat, with four teams of three vying to eliminate their opponents by depleting a shared life pool. Each participant will be equipped with unique weapons and perks to enhance their gameplay experience.
A standout feature being introduced in this playtest is the Magnetic Flux mechanic. This innovative power allows players to manipulate metal objects and traverse the battlefield at impressive speeds, providing a new dimension to movement and strategy.
According to the developers, “The Magnetic Flux is a game-changing power that enables players to traverse the battlefield at high speed, manipulating metal objects and triggering electromagnetic effects, fostering both freedom of movement and the ability to devise innovative strategies to maintain a tactical advantage.”
