Ultimate Hunter Level
The post-campaign Ultimate Hunter Mode returns with five difficulty levels to unlock. Unlike previous iterations, you won’t start from scratch with a new complete campaign; instead, you progress through challenge missions spread throughout the world of Kairos. Each level introduces modifiers such as tougher enemies, increased damage, and elemental resistances, all while boosting your chances to find legendary loot.
Progress in Specializations
Specializations allow you to further refine your build with passive benefits. These bonuses can be obtained through an account-wide progression system, which eliminates the need to repeat everything for each new character. You can also reset these points for Eridium, which is quite costly but enables you to fine-tune your gameplay style.
Encore Bosses and Joker Missions
Weekly missions and bosses with specific rewards are offered. The Joker Missions remix existing quests by adding tougher modifiers, ensuring high-level loot. Meanwhile, the Encore Bosses are more challenging versions of foes you’ve previously defeated, requiring payment of Eridium for additional attempts.
