During the “Emergence” mission in the Campaign mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you’ll have the chance to complete a challenge that requires you to answer five phone calls. Here’s where to find each phone.
The story mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been well-received and loved by fans. One mission, in particular, will heighten your senses, as many have compared it to a horror game (or at least to the zombie mode!). If you’re not afraid of jump scares, make sure to take the time to complete the secondary challenge by answering all the calls.
Completing the “Receiving Calls” Challenge in the Emergence Mission
This is the seventh main mission in the story mode, meaning you’ll have to progress through the game to reach it and complete the secondary challenge. You’re required to answer five phone calls. Completing this will reward you with a multiplayer sticker, which you can equip through your account tab while playing in Multiplayer, Warzone, or Zombies.
To successfully complete the “receiving calls” challenge, you will need to progress through the storyline of the mission but make sure to search every hallway. As soon as you hear a ringing tone, head toward it and pick up. Some calls are mandatory for progression, while others are optional. If you don’t hear a call when you’re in the right location, advance in the storyline and come back later.
Where to Find the 5 Phone Calls?
Some will be easily found during the mission, while others are a bit more hidden, and you may risk missing them.
Central Hub
The phone in the Central Hub is located in the Hub area, next to the slots where you have to insert four keycards from the Director of Advanced Technologies and Applications (ATA). It will start ringing after you’ve interacted with the elevator button at the top of the stairs for the first time.
Main Hallway
The second phone can be found in the main hallway between the Advanced Combat Research (ACR) wing and the Administration wing. Approach it to make it ring and answer the call to learn more about Case’s past. Note: You need to progress in the ACR wing and then come back.
Administration Wing
Once you acquire the grappling hook in the ACR wing, you’ll be able to access the Administration wing via the balcony. Right at the top, you’ll hear the phone ringing from a small table on your left.
Join Projects Wing
With the Grappling Hook, you won’t miss the phone in the “Join Projects” wing. It is located directly on the path as you enter and will begin to ring as soon as you approach it. Answering the phone will count this call toward your challenge progress.
Biotechnology Wing
The last phone can be found after taking the elevator up to the Biotechnology wing. Naturally, you must have obtained all four keycards to unlock the elevator. The phone will start ringing in a dark room as soon as you exit the elevator.
