Introduction to the New Game Featuring a YouTube Icon
The latest addition to the gaming world is the much-anticipated title, Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit. This game stars the well-known character from the long-running comedy web series on YouTube.
A Legacy of Comedy and Gaming
Created by James Rolfe in 2004, the Angry Video Game Nerd series has been entertaining audiences for over two decades by humorously critiquing poorly designed retro games. This unique focus on the quirky aspects of gaming led to the development of two previous titles: Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures in 2013 and its sequel, Angry Video Game Nerd II: ASSimilation, released in 2016.
Gameplay and Release Details
Now, fans can look forward to the release of the third installment, theoretically named Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit. Drawing significant inspiration from the beloved Mega Man franchise, this game is scheduled to launch on October 23 across multiple platforms: PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Physical Editions Coming Soon
Following the digital rollout, enthusiasts will also have the chance to purchase physical editions, including a fully functional cartridge for the NES, provided by Limited Run Games.
