To progress in the endgame of Borderlands 4, you must complete the Ultimate Hunter challenges—higher difficulty levels requiring the defeat of specific bosses. Among these is Épinaria from the Completed Song challenge.
Head to one of the Prophecy Mines in the Terminus Mountains area of Borderlands 4 to find a specific boss necessary for your Vault Hunter’s progression in the Ultimate Hunter difficulty modes. You must confront this new guardian at CU1 at minimum, so let’s see where to find them.
Where to Find the Boss Épinaria for the Completed Song Challenge?
To meet Épinaria and complete the Completed Song challenge, you need to aim for the Bitter Vein Prophecy Mine. You can find this dungeon all the way to the north of the Terminus Mountains, typically hidden behind an invisible wall. Inside, you will need to perform some jumps to reach the next rooms, culminating in the final area where you must shoot cages to create a path. Once in the arena, remember to stock up on ammunition and double-check your build before jumping into battle: this boss can be quite challenging and may strip your shield if you’re not prepared.
How to Defeat the Boss Épinaria?
This gigantic Kratch is no joke, with devastating attacks and numerous waves of minions. To defeat him, you’ll need to utilize the hooks spread throughout the arena to quickly change positions when the enemy spits venom at you. Épinaria will also try to charge directly at you, but by now, you should know how to counter such assaults: dodge at the right moment to one side or backward to avoid damage (be cautious of your stamina). Lastly, we recommend leaving a few minions with low HP for easy revival if the boss manages to knock you down during the fight. If you succeed in defeating Épinaria, you should validate the Completed Song challenge, which is essential for your progression as an Ultimate Hunter in the game’s endgame.
