Borderlands 3 features an exciting system for acquiring golden keys, which can give players a significant advantage in the game. These keys allow you to unlock a special chest located in Sanctuary 3 that contains rare equipment, including exotic and legendary items. How to Get Golden Keys via Shift Codes
- To redeem the codes you find online, simply head to this page. Sign up using the credentials from your respective platform account (PSN for PS4, Xbox Live for Xbox One, or Epic for PC).
- You can also create your Shift account directly from the game menus, which saves you some time. Just pause the game, navigate to the social tab, and select Shift.

Important Note!
- When you open the chest, it distributes equipment based on your current level. If you’re after excellent rewards, preserve your golden keys for when you’re at a higher level; this will yield much better results.
- Do not confuse Shift codes with the VIP rewards system. To identify which codes grant you golden keys, look for those formatted as five-character groups. Other codes pertain to VIP points.
