Call of Duty Black Ops 6 was released on Friday, October 25, 2024, and while most players rush into multiplayer or zombie mode, some prefer to dive into the story mode first. The solo campaign isn’t very long, but it’s a great way to get acquainted with the various game mechanics once again. It’s a good opportunity to get back into the swing of things while enjoying some cinematic experiences.

How to Solve the Piano Puzzle in Black Ops 6?

In the story mode of this latest Call of Duty, you will battle countless enemies, engage in stealth missions, and explore a large HQ brimming with secrets to uncover. “The Tower” is the infamous isolated house with around fifteen different rooms. By reading the notes scattered around, you’ll learn that there is a safe to open, but first, you’ll need to solve a few puzzles, starting with the one involving the piano.

The first thing to do is pick up the blacklight flashlight on the table in front of the piano. Once you turn it on and shine it on the wall above the piano, you will see the first clue: a Russian letter with a number. Make sure to note down what numbers correspond to which letters and follow the arrows around the room to find all 5 matches.

Once you’ve done that, go back to the piano and use the blacklight on the letters above the notes:

The numbers found on the walls correspond to the order in which you need to tap the notes,
The Russian letters associated with the numbers are indicated above the piano keys: one note corresponds to the letter directly above it
For example: “Pe” corresponds to the note D
The solution is: E D B C D

How to Repair the Boiler?

The door just to the right of the piano will then open, giving you access to the basement. Unfortunately, the door at the bottom of the stairs is locked. To open it, you’ll need to repair the boiler in the garage. Once you’re there, read the note on the workbench to the right, which explains that you need to:

Open the fuel valve (left machine) only halfway (look at the gauge, the slider should be in the middle)
Turn on the pilot light (right machine): the indicator will turn green if successful,
Open the boiler valve fully (middle machine): the slider should be in the red zone

The basement door next to the piano should now be open.

Opening the Bunker Door

Once in the basement, you will learn a series of unlocking techniques, starting with deciphering codes. Note that the code to find is different each time. The trick is to use the blacklight (and remember to move it around the keypad) to see where there are fingerprints. Try an initial combination with these numbers.

On the right screen, if the number is green, it means it’s in the correct position. If it is yellow, it means it’s in the combination but in the wrong place (try a new combination with that same number elsewhere). If it’s gray, then the number is not in the code.

After that, you’ll enter a new room with a computer to hack. This part is straightforward; just look at the code at the bottom of the screen where each number corresponds to a letter. Refer to the numbers at the top of the screen to know which letters to press. Here, the answer is: OPEN BUNKER CELL DOOR.

A new door opens and you can then pick the lock: another mini-game where you must use the right joystick of your controller. Gently turn it until you feel a vibration: once you feel the vibration, hold the position to make the lock break free. Don’t forget to grab the key from the table.

Obtaining the Safe Code

With the key, open the final door to find where the signal is coming from. Approach the television and radio at the back of the room: the mini-game consists of aligning two curves. A message will then be broadcast: it differs for each player, but you’ll notice keywords in the message such as “painting,” “guitar,” or other types of items that you can find in the room.

Turn on your blacklight and identify the numbers that are near/on the relevant objects. The aim is to find a combination of 4 digits. Here are examples of codes that work if you still haven’t found one:
