The perks in Blackout differ significantly from those in multiplayer mode. They are stored in your inventory and consume space for their duration of effect. You must choose them wisely to always prioritize healing items, useful gear, and weapon accessories.

Here’s a comprehensive list of perks available in the Battle Royale mode of Black Ops 4, highlighting the ones you should focus on to achieve that coveted first-place finish:

Dead Silence

– Description: You move silently. You make less noise when opening containers (2 minutes).

– Note: Nearly essential in the endgame, where sound is one of the simplest ways to locate enemies.

Skulker

– Description: Move faster while crouching or prone (90 seconds).

– Note: A great alternative to Dead Silence during the endgame; moving quickly while crouched minimizes your footsteps.

Conscience

– Description: Enhances your perception of enemy footsteps (60 seconds).

Paranoia

– Description: Emits a sound when you are targeted by an enemy (30 seconds).

Lightweight

– Description: Move faster with no fall damage (2 minutes).

– Note: Not necessarily a must-have since you usually run at a speed that matches the storm’s movement.

Iron Lung

– Description: Allows you to hold your breath longer while using sniper rifles. Increases breath capacity underwater.

Engineer
