Tartare Barbare Borderlands 4: How to Complete This Side Quest
After joining Clap Trap’s faction, you’ll begin to tackle the various issues facing the inhabitants of Kairos. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to complete Tartare Barbare, one of the early side quests in the game.
Dangerous factions like the Rippers roam Kairos, but they haven’t accounted for your skills as an Arch Hunter and your arsenal capable of taking down foes by the dozen. In this side quest of Borderlands 4, you will assist a farmer who has been brutally attacked, leading you to investigate the culprits behind the chaos.
How to Complete the Tartare Barbare Side Quest
- Upon arriving near the quest area, you will need to eliminate the Disconnected enemies lingering around. Be cautious, as some foes may take time to appear, and you might need to venture into the courtyard to clear them out.
- Once the area is clear, free the NPC to hear their story: you’ll need to investigate the murder of their friend and find 4 clues located within the building. The first two clues can be found to your left as you enter the barn; then turn around to examine the animal carcass before finally heading to the end of the barn to find the body you’re searching for.
- To detach the body, you’ll need to shut down some machinery, which means heading to the back of the building to open the hatches concealing the machine’s cooling system. Explode it, then inspect the remains of the victim to uncover a vital clue. Your investigation will then lead you several hundred meters away for a final clue mentioning a beast behind a waterfall. Simply follow the objective and kill Zeke to complete the quest, but beware, the killer is still at large.
