Have you ever dreamt of wielding a weapon with infinite ammo? That dream is almost within reach with this absurdly powerful Gatling-style pistol from Vladof. Its massive magazine and outrageous firing rate make it a must-have for certain character builds.
There’s a legendary weapon to suit every taste in Borderlands 3, and the Unending Magnificent is sure to fulfill the fantasy of those seeking a pistol with an absurd rate of fire and magazine size. With a default capacity of 140 rounds and an even larger magazine possible with certain talents, for example, those that belong to Moze the Gunner, this weapon allows players to do some truly amusing things — as seen in the video: firing endlessly without ever needing to reload. The combination of free shots and bullets replenished from critical hits allows for a virtually limitless firing experience. Other characters and builds can also benefit from this high rate of fire. Although individual shot damage isn’t very high, the fire element makes it a formidable weapon against hordes of smaller creatures like the Rakks.
A funny little detail is that when you do eventually need to reload, your character switches between three different magazines.
How to Acquire the Unending Magnificent
We were fortunate enough to secure this weapon twice within just a few hours’ time, both times on the planet Promethea, in the Atlas HQ area at level 50 on Mayhem Mode 3. The first drop was from a small chest, while the second was from the boss, Katagawa. Since this area is nearly devoid of enemies after completing the story mode but still packed with loot-filled red chests, it makes for an excellent farming spot.
Weapon Statistics
Having found the weapon several times, we noted a few variations in its statistics. Most notably, the magazine size can vary significantly; one version had 140 rounds available, while another had only 115. This weapon is also available in multiple elemental variants. The elemental type can be either fire or acid, and the secondary mode might be a less effective taser or an additional barrel that can enhance the firing rate even further. It’s safe to say that this second variant is far superior.
