Continuing our guide on locating Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot, we’re heading to the planet Promethea, particularly around Meridian City.
If you’ve already checked out some Borderlands 3 guides, you’re likely familiar with the process. No need to panic if you’re new; this article summarizes how to locate all of Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot on Promethea. This planet is also home to the boss Killavolt, a challenge for solo players. Expect some great loot, including legendary weapons.
Note: The order of the recordings is entirely arbitrary and doesn’t affect your game. This is just to help you keep track.
The Surroundings of Meridian
This is the first zone of Promethea, where you’ll mainly navigate by vehicle. The map below highlights the locations of Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot:
For the first recording, head to the indicated spot and do a bit of climbing.
The second recording is close to the first one, so refer to our map and go there.
The third recording is also straightforward. The planet is easy to navigate at first, with Typhon’s clues accessible without much trouble. Just head to the point marked on the map.
Next, you’ll discover Typhon’s hidden loot. The entry to it is slightly tricky; you’ll have to ascend the elevator, send it back down, then reactivate it and jump onto it when it’s on its way back up. Rest assured, you won’t get crushed, and you’ll reach Typhon’s loot.
Metroplex of Meridian
This is the second zone of Promethea, and a vehicle is highly recommended here. The map below indicates the locations of Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot:
For the first two recordings, there’s nothing special to note. Just head to the spots indicated on our map.
The same applies for the third recording; just go to the designated location. If it’s blocked, simply progress in the main quest, and you will pass through this area.
Typhon’s hidden loot here is a little tricky to reach. You need to get to a kind of walkway that you have to climb, and Typhon’s chest is at the other end. Take your time to observe the surroundings; it’s all about common sense.
Lectra City
This is the third area of Promethea, and you’ll mainly be on foot. Here, you can also encounter a legendary weapon inspired by the One Punch Man easter egg. The map below indicates the locations of Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot:
Once again, simply go to the two indicated locations for these recordings; there are no access blocks.
The access to this third recording is straightforward; just a few jumps to get up on a building, and you’re there. Follow the map!
Typhon’s hidden loot is tucked away in a container between several buildings, which you’ll need to climb up to. Just follow our plan, and you should have no problem finding it.
Skywell-27 Platform
This is the fourth zone of Promethea, which is actually its moon. You’ll experience low gravity here, making exploration quite different! The map below indicates the locations of Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot:
The first recording is easy to find. Don’t be fooled by a closed door; look at your map, and you’ll see you can go around to get inside the buildings and activate this recording.
A small detour is needed for the second recording. Make a few jumps from platform to platform to reach the indicated location, and you’re all set.
To reach the spot indicated on our map, you’ll need to find a ladder. Keep an eye out; the ladder is close to this third recording.
Head to the point shown on our plan, and claim your Typhon loot!
Atlas HQ
Finally, you’ve reached the famed headquarters of the weapon manufacturing company. This is the fifth zone of Promethea, and it’s relatively small. The map below indicates the locations of Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot:
As you progress through the main quest in this area, simply take two slight detours to collect the first two recordings. Follow our map; it’s quite simple.
We offer the same advice here. The third recording and Typhon’s hidden loot are located at the spots shown on our map, so make your way to them. There are no complications in this area.
Neon Arteries
This is the last zone of Promethea. A large portion of it is traversed using a vehicle with Maya during the main quest. The map below indicates the locations of Typhon’s recordings and hidden loot:
Before getting in the car with Maya during the main quest in the Neon Arteries, make sure to grab the first recording, which is located close to the start of the area.
The second recording is much further away and can be obtained only after the vehicle phase is completed. Continue with the quest and head to the indicated spot to collect it.
The third and final recording, along with Typhon’s hidden loot, are located close to each other. Continue with the main quest in the area, and you’ll pass by the indicated spots on our detailed map.
