In addition to the Mines of Prophecy, players can unlock the Order Bunker by progressing through the main quest of Borderlands 4. In this guide, we’ll explore how to complete Point Critique, one of the dungeons located on the Versant map.
While many bosses in Borderlands 4 serve primarily as farming opportunities for loot, others play a role in special challenges during the endgame, particularly in the Ultimate Hunter Challenge. The boss we focus on here is part of the Level 3 challenge in the Ultimate Hunter series.
How to Complete the Order Bunker Point Critique?
This side dungeon is located in the eastern part of the Versant region, close to the Ark of the area. To enter, you’ll need to eliminate all enemies guarding the door, allowing you access. Head to the left of the entrance into the large ventilation duct, then climb to the right to find the acid at the end of the pathway. Leap over the railing behind you and quickly throw an explosive at the door before the time runs out. Once inside the first room, clear the waves of Order members and pick up the generator on the floor to insert it into the console at the top of the room.
You’ll follow a similar process in the next room, although the second generator isn’t necessary; this opening only leads to a red chest. Then take the only available corridor and ride the elevator, climbing on the adhesive surfaces on the sides. After a few jumps, you’ll reach the boss arena of this instance, Mimicron. A quick reminder: make sure to stock up on ammunition and check that your build is ready before diving into this rather chaotic fight.
How to Defeat Boss Mimicron?
This enemy is extremely fast and will stick close to you for a good portion of the fight. His main ability allows him to send out projectiles that you must destroy in order to reach him directly. To add to the challenge, you’ll face the usual waves of “cannon fodder” minions, so it’s wise to keep a couple of them around to revitalize yourself in case of heavy damage. The key to defeating him is to maintain distance while soaring around the arena, keeping him in your sights. This is easier said than done—you may need to get your bearings a few rounds—but once you find the rhythm, you should take him down without too much trouble. As always, Vex is the ideal class for solo play, but we definitely recommend going for co-op if you plan to farm him.
