The quest we’re focusing on in this guide will only be available once you gain access to the Dominion area. How to Obtain the Legendary Seventh Sense
First and foremost, you need to pick up a side mission located in the northeast of the Dominion called Under the Surface. Once initiated, just follow the steps outlined by your contact, without much originality in the quest’s procedures. The only minor complication you might face is finding an alternate path to the elevator; you will need to remove the vent cover visible in the second image below. After that, continue along the path by completing each request from Ted until he can join you at the bottom of the building. You’ll need to battle two experiments before facing Ted himself, who will be transformed for this encounter. Once you take him down, the vortex returning to the entrance of the arena and Moxxi’s machine will be available for you to farm at your leisure.
How to Defeat the Boss Ted Corrupted and His Experiments?
The twist in this arena is that you won’t confront these foes in the same order as your first encounter; Ted will come first, followed by his two experiments for a fight that is lengthy but not overly difficult. Each enemy will have corruption crystals to break in order to reveal their actual health bars: pay special attention to Experiment 42, who is very quick and can provide bonuses to his closest allies. Apart from that, you should be able to obliterate Ted and his lackeys fairly easily. Just keep farming them until you acquire the Seventh Sense, clearly one of the most powerful pistols in the game. In our experience, it dropped on our fifth encounter with him, so we can confirm that this weapon does indeed drop off this quest-related boss.
