Upon your arrival on Kairos in Borderlands 4, you will meet Claptrap, setting off a series of missions designed to prove your worth. Among all the chaos, unlocking an elevator can become a headache, primarily due to the small interaction area required for progression.
How to Unlock the Elevator?
Follow the quest in its initial phase without any worries: head over to Splashzone, collect the suspension pack floating in the air, and return to confront the tower. Unfortunately, Claptrap is unable to ascend, making it impossible to operate the elevator. The game then prompts you to find a solution within this tiny search area. You’ll need to wait for the robot to mention a triangular shape, which will allow you to remove the implant from the necks of the nearby soldiers littering the area. Once you have that, you can insert it into the waiting slot to bring Claptrap to you.
Replayability of Missions
On another note regarding the missions in the game, it’s worth mentioning that most of them are entirely replayable. This is quite convenient if you want to farm a specific faction within the overarching storyline: Gearbox has understood that its community loves to farm legendary loot endlessly, which is why they introduced a replay system for missions and bosses. This aspect is at the core of the endgame, as you’ll be invited to complete missions and face bosses again with various modifiers, ensuring you receive higher quality rewards.
